Several political figures keep sympathizing with President Mahama following the death of his mother Abiba Nnaba. Alhaji Ibrahim Dori, a known activist of the National Democratic Congress is latest to express his earnest condolence to the president.
In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, Alhaji Dori stated that as a devout Muslim, he believes the mother of President Mahama, a fellow Muslim, is with Allah.
“This is a season concerned as sacred to all Muslims. She died in peace looking at the season her maker decided to call her”, he said.
The NDC stalwart urged President Mahama to remain resolute in this hard time and believe things would normalize through the help of Allah.
In a related development, President John Dramani Mahama has suspended his “Accounting to the People” tour of the Greater Accra region following the death of his mother, Abiba Nnaba. The President will be flying to Damango in the Northern Region for the burial of his mother today.
