“I am even surprised Koku Anyidoho is walking freely. I am surprised he has not been summoned by the Supreme Court for what he said. His comment is unfortunate, unacceptable and contemptuous,” he said.

Koku was quoted to have said the Supreme Court should be permitted to run elections in the country since he could not understand why the court through its actions is seemingly involving in the operation of the Electoral Commission (EC).

Koku Anyidoho’s remark is in reaction to the instruction by the Supreme Court to the EC to give it with an “inclusive” list of all people who registered with the NHIS card.

The Supreme Court in an attempt to give further clarification to its May 5 judgment on the disagreement regarding the voters’ register, asked the EC to furnish it with a complete list of all persons who registered with the NHIS cards.
