The Vice President, Mr K. B. Amissah-Arthur, arrived in the Upper East Regional capital, Bolgatanga on Wednesday.
Mr Amissah-Arthur is in the region to campaign for President John Mahama and parliamentary candidates of the National Democratic Congress ahead of the December general elections.
He had earlier in the week campaigned in the Western and Central corridors of the Northern Region, where he called on chiefs and met with NDC executives, parliamentary candidates and appointees of the President.
