Former Minister of local government and rural development and a member of the national campaign task force of the NDC Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi has cautioned the electorate not to make the mistake of changing the NDC government as the American electorates did by voting for Donald Trump of the Republican Party.
He made the statement whilst addressing students of the Abetifi Presbyterian College of Education as part of the five-day campaign tour of the Eastern region by the Chief of staff Mr Julius Debrah .
Prof. Ahwoi told the students that if they fail to vote for the NDC to extend the mandate of President Mahama it will affect them (the students) and posterity.
The Deputy Minister of Communication Mr Ato Sarpong stated that when the construction of the 200 Community Day Senior High Schools are all completed over 30,000 jobs will be created for teachers and non teachers.
He therefore asked the students to vote massively for President Mahama to extend his mandate on December 7th.
