In another damning revelation, it has come to light that the supposed site for the Sabare Community Senior High School, listed as number 81 on the list of 123 Schools the John Mahama government is constructing, is merely a fertile cattle grazing ground – with absolutely no work ongoing.
This revelation was put out by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in a facebook post with pictures of the supposed project site in Sabare in the Zabzugu Constituency of the Northern Region.
In the facebook post, Dr. Bawumia likened the Sabare School Fiasco to the case of the five (5) polyclinics the NDC claimed in their manifesto to have constructed in the Western Region but which upon various checks, are nowhere to be found.
The post reads “In the matter of 'vanishing polyclinics', another project which seems to have vanished is the Sabare Community Senior High School in the Zabzugu Constituency of the Northern Region. This project was listed as Number 81 on the list of 123 Senior High Schools supposedly being constructed by the government and at 'different stages of completion'.”
Dr. Bawumia explained that following the release of the list on September 29th by the John Mahama government, he visited the supposed site of the School and presented pictorial evidence of what he saw.
Following the release of the list on 29th September, I visited the supposed Project Site on 22nd October while on my tour of the Zabzugu Constituency with Member of Parliament for the Constituency, John Bennam.

MR. BAWUMIA IS JOKER AND NOT A SERIOUS PERSON. HE TAKES INTEREST IN UNNECESSARY POLITICKING IN GHANA. WHAT IS HE TALKING ABOUT. HE ONLY GOING ROUND TO LOOK FOR NEGATIVE THINGS WITH THE VIEW TO DISCREDIT THE GOVERNMENT BUT HE WILL FAIL. SUFFICE IT TO SAY THAT THE CATTLE GRAZING CONSTRUCTION SITE IS TRUE THAT DOES NOT TAKE AWAY THE NUMBER OF COMMUNITY DAY SCHOOLS THE MAHAMA GOVERNMENT HAS CONSTRUCTED IN THIS COUNTRY WHICH IS PHYSICAL THERE FOR EVERYONE WHO HAVE EYES TO SEE. IF BAWUMIA TAKES AWAY THE CATTLE GRAZING LAND FROM THE 123 SCHOOLS i.e. 123 MINUS 1 = 122 SCHOOLS. BAWUMIA IS DISGRACING HIMSELF IN GHANA POLITICS AND HE SHOULD FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO AND STOP THE CHILDISH POLITICKING
wuaaa look at what u are saying??....if the NPP have built even one school dont u think the NDC will concentrate on another thing ??
Is it because of record keeping that is why these structures are being put up? If there is no need for a hospital, is it compulsory that a hospital should be built? We are building schools that will have no occupants. Already there are plans to turn some of them into Sports academy. What was the plan for building these schools. The next SHS intake will be in October 2017 , so why are rushing to inaugurate structures that have not been completed. If they are completed between now and August, there would be no occupants. A lot of workers are in need of accommodation, and there are uncompleted affordable houses which needs completion why dont we spend resources to complete these structures for workers to have a feel of their contribution to the National cake. The schools are need but it is not a priority. The are being put up for 'Political Marks'
@ DR. BIO, GO TO SHAMA SHS. COME TO TARKWA UMaT. I THINK THESE TWO ARE ENOUGH. PLS. THINK OF YOUR CHILDREN & CHILDREN'S CHILDREN.
President Mahama and his NDC Government have put one of the E schools at a place called Apagya in Adansi district in Ashanti Region. The E-SHS Day school is there alright but there are very important questions to be answered by the Government why such a huge school to be located in a sparsely populated area. 1) There is 1 JSS at Apagya itself and another 1 JSS at Atobiase, about 1 km from Apagya. The next place you can find a JSS is Ataasi Nkwanta which is 5 km from Apagya, all on the Yamoransa - Awiankwanta trunk road. So maximum of 3 villages to feed this huge SHS with children. I am from one of the villages in that area and I know the performance of the children there. Not even half of each JSS graduates can pass to get admission in the SHS. Why then such a huge SHS for the area. Another important thing is where are we going to get qualified teachers to teach the students. I know Government is eying on National service personnel who will be posted there and leave after 1 year maybe less. Even when NSS post them to such a place say 10, 15 or say 20 teachers, where will they stay. Mind you there is New Edubiase SHS about 10 Km from Apagya so any student who believes the parents can afford will go there for boarding house facilities. All that I am trying to say is that the NEW SHS put at Apagya is too huge for the area. I have said this and time will tell.
@ RSA-Because of ignorance some party faithfuls behave and talk irresponsibly like PIG.
YOU ARE REALLY CHOOSE AND PICK INDEED.THIS ARE SOME OF THINGS THAT PUT ME AWAY FROM NPP.SAD AT LEAST GIVE SOME CREDIT. FOR POLITICAL REASONS SOME PEOPLE BEHAVE LIKE PIGS
Good how many SHS and universities did NPP build? you couldn't build even one so give us a break
