Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Nkansah says former Attorney General and Minister of Justice in the late President John Evans Atta-Mills’ administration; Mr. Martin Amidu is "envious" of President John Dramani Mahama’s achievements.
His comment comes after the anti-corruption campaigner hinted that the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) would never compel businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome to refund the GH¢51.2 million wrongfully paid to him by government officials unless they are kicked out from office.
According to him, the Mahama-led government created, looted and shared the GH¢51.2 million loot with the businessman.
He has, therefore, charged Ghanaians to vote out President John Dramani Mahama and his NDC in the December 7 elections, saying that is the only way Ghana can retrieve the GH¢51.2 million from Mr. Woyome.
"This is the only way out for Ghanaians to stand up for their constitutional rights, and to retrieve the unconstitutional monies created, looted and shared by this government with its political party supporters, who are now unconstitutional judgment debtors to the Republic,” Mr. Amidu, also known as Citizen Vigilante said.
Mr. Amidu also noted that - even though he is a senior and founding member of the NDC, he is compelled to put Ghana first and to defend the 1992 Constitution, saying the only way Ghanaians can have the Woyome/Austro-Invest joint loot refunded is to change the government during the presidential election this year.
This led Solomon Nkansah of the NDC to describe Mr. Amidu as an envious citizen full of "anger and hatred" for President Mahama’s achievements in an interview on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
"This is what is worrying Martin Amidu but we [NDC] won’t waste our time to discuss him," he told host Kwasi Aboagye.

I would have been seriously surprised if this t-r-a-s-h hadn't come from this "solomon" who do not have a minute of the immense wisdom of KING SOLOMON.
Solomon Nkansah, if it were you, what will you do? you have been pegged for the vice presidential slot, went and lost and someone else is brought in, went and won and eventually became the President of the republic. I am with you on this one proper. Jealousy will kill him.
Because Martin is NOT CORRUPT but Mahama is VERY CORRUPT TO HIS BONE. Water and oil can't mix. CHANGE IS COMING!
I hope we all re-call his infamous comment when he was accosted at the airport after the 2000 election was being harassed by the then government functionaries. He told them he was the "Shadow Vice President" whether it was in the constitution, we are yet to see. Shadow indeed. He didn't attract votes and sent the NDC into opposition. This has been and will be his hatred for JM. His envy is eating him up big time. Ashi nu paaa!!!
Martin Amidu has a clean political record and will not be ***barred word*** of an incompetent corrupt individual who is tainted with soooo many corrupt dealings...
