A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication team, Alhaji Haruna Halidu has told members of the NPP not to assume their party would be voted for in the upcoming elections due to their promises made.
To him, they [members of NPP] are just creating controversies with lots of agitations against the Electoral Commission [EC] to create an impression of it rigging the elections, after indications from their encampment shows clearly of their defeat.
“I am very sure citizens would look up to the developmental projects embarked on by President John Dramani Mahama and his government, than voting for the numerous promises from the NPP. We would vote on evidence based projects than mere promises.”
Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme, Alhaji Hallidu labeled the largest opposition party as a deceit type, which sold state properties to pay some part of the loans they lobbied for when former President Kufour was in power, yet this same party now claim it would not take loans and as well take off all taxes when it is elected into power.
“So how are those promises going to be fulfilled?” he asked.
“This nation will regret forever if it test Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his NPP,” he told Lawyer Tweneboa Koduah.

change is imminent.. ***barred word*** leave n drop all the money u ve stolen with ur family n friends..
vote for change
Only children will believe Nana Addo because they did not hear about Mill's one time NHIS premium promise or about the pledge by Kuffour to reduce VAT. When in opposition, you can promise anything. Then when you come and meet empty national coffers, the World Bank would now give you the true story. So wise up, keep JM in power because change is already happening. The artist has finished drafting and is now commissioning projects can't you feel the change. Whilst some are now moving from rally to rally, Mahama is moving from project to project. Idebee k3k3, JM Toaso
IN OPPOSITION YOU CAN ONLY PROMISE. PREZ. MAHAMA PROMISED BEFORE COMING TO POWER. MIND YOU, NOBODY EVER USED HIS PERSONAL MONEY TO DEVELOP GHANA.IF THE PRESIDENCY IS ALL ABOUT BORROWING TO BUILD PROJECTS, WHO IN GHANA CAN'T BE PRESIDENT. NKRUMAH DIDN'T BORROW TO BUILD. IT WAS LOCALLY GENERATED MONEY. THERE IS TOO MUCH WASTAGE AND UNACCOUNTABILITY IN THE SYSTEM. HOLES MUST PLUGGED. MONIES COLLECTED MUST BE PROPERLY USED. A PRESIDENT MUST BE CAPABLE OF PROTECTING THE PUBLIC PURSE.IT IS NOT EASY PAYING TAX, MR. HALIDU.
Could Mahama hv built anything had he not been in government to show smtn as evidence? What has he to show? What has he done that other government didn't. Attah Mills did more in his two years than what we see. Mahama is jx commissioning 2 acher projects which won't even hv impact on any generation.
Better to keep the positive change that to test an unknown because you are tired of NDC. Very silly excuse to vote a working President out of office. Best President in Infastructure development since Nkrumah. Kufuor awarded himself with Gold chains when he took the loans. A sensible president building schools, hospitals, mega roads that will benefit generations after him. Think before you vote!! Fellow Ghanaians
nonsensse! Ghanaians are tired of NDC - that is all!
