Kweku Baako has asked the Ghana Police Service to arrest the perpetrators of post-election violence.
Speaking on Peace FM on Kokrokoo, Mr. Baako condemned the violent attacks on people believed to be on the opposing side.
According to him, the Police should not discriminate but rather ensure that the perpetrators, whether NPP or NDC members or supporters, are equally dealth with by the security agencies.
“Identify the perpetrators. Arrest them, charge them and prosecute them. Whether they’re NPP or NDC, it’s immaterial…The more we condemn, the more we punish it; the greater the chance that it will not reoccur or even if it will occur, it will on very [very] small scale.”
Mr. Baako advised the party supporters to be tolerant of one another.
