Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been sworn in as President of the Republic of Ghana. Nana Akufo-Addo swore the presidential oath and the oath of allegiance on Saturday, January 7 to loud cheers from thousands of supporters at the Black Star Square in Accra.
He therefore becomes the 5th President of the Fourth Republic, taking over from John Dramani Mahama, who was also at the venue. Nana Akufo-Addo won the December 7, 2016 elections by 53.85 per cent on his way to fulfilling a lifetime dream. It was his third attempt at the presidency, having lost the previous contests to the late John Evans Atta Mills and Mr Mahama, in 2008 and 2012 respectively.

For nana to become a president is what most people on this platform wont or to perform better.

Yiee Nkokorafo3 w3 krom. Ghana is going backwards in leaps effective today 7th January 2017
Akufo Addo can never and will never be president of Ghana. hahahahaaahahahhaahahahaha
At least what prevailed was that no one by virtue of being perceived as a first class citizen will easily win the presidency you have to fight for it and earn it. Rawlings bravery took him there, Kuffour and Atta mills battled for it, with Mahamma it was true share luck that made him president.
He will never become president of this country.....didnt they say this ???
SO TRUE TRUE NANA HAS BECOME PRESIDENT? I DEY DREAM?
