Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo would be unable to attend an ECOWAS mini-summit at The Gambia today.
For this reason, he has designated his immediate predecessor, President Mahama to represent him at the summit. Before retiring from office, President Mahama had been instrumental in mediating the current political situation in The Gambia.
In a statement signed and copied to Peacefmonline.com by the Acting Director of Communications of the Golden Jubilee House, Mr. Eugene Arhin, it noted that President Akufo- Addo “is of the view that the continuing involvement of former President Mahama in the mediation process in the Gambia would assist the process.”

Have you forgotten that Nana Addo was our foreign Minister for a long period? Let's appreciate this noble gesture and stop being childish. Incompetent loser.
Please Nana Addo had been foreign minister before if you care to know
The fact is that John Mahama would still have been there because he had been appointed by Ecowas to head the gambian mediation process. He knew he would have been sitting in the meeting while former president Mahama chaired, so why not let John goes alone.
God bless you Nana Addo
Now you see say man pass man. Now you you will be doing errands for the short man who speaks slangs and did not have the mandate to criticize you. Who say man no day.
Lets all celebrate the President for this singular decision he has taken, i think it is good for Ghana that even before he settles down he is already drawing on the former president. Kudos
He has no option than to do that because he is just a novice and has not nothing to say there. Moreover he is afraid of gammeh.
Well done Nana!!
Good move from Nana Addo and wise acceptance from JDM
Beautiful! This is wisdom, beacause Mr.Mahama having been instrumental in the mediation,Nana has done well to not let NPP represented him but have engaged Mr. Mahama.Nana is very mature...God bless him.
