Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Otiko Afisa Djaba has counseled members of the National Democratic Congress [NDC] to mind their party affairs after they lost the 2016 general elections than wanting to correct President Akufo-Addo on any decision he takes.
According to her, members of the NDC should have been quiet by now concentrating on their party issues after all what they keep criticizing have come to being.
During a panel discussion on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme, she said “I know there are a lot of discriminations against me especially from the side of the opposition parties just because I worked hard, hand in hand with President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo then the aspiring presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party [NPP], for the party to be in power.”
She noted that “when throwing a stone at someone, the other party should also have in mind that the opponent can do the same to you.”
Making reference to some questions asked her during her vetting, Hon. Otiko Djaba stressed “Factually, some questions asked me on my vetting day by some committee members to me had nothing to do with my position to be occupied; rather they were just asked because those individuals don’t like me.”

Seriously, what has the NDC got to offer that we need to worry our head over them? They left a debt portfolio of GHC120billion and the least they can do is to concentrate on their abysmal performance both in gov't and during the polls. Nation wreckers

You have made your point..please note whether you like it or not you and JM share half of your genes and you will forever remain sister and brother.. In Ghana when family people disagree we don't sort out in the political theater.. your mum is his direct auntie and his father is your direct uncle... please be careful with all this arrogance,. find time and sit down with your big bro and sort out, family comes before politics, even if he is evil, she is your cross as blood is thicker than water.. concentrate on your job please.. Bimbilla is burning, women and children are dying please get involved
SOLID! Always stand for your convictions, don't mind NDC

Hey woman stat working and stop talking tr..as.h, that message does not concern you. You better concentrate on the position given to you and start working. You think we are here to joke?
OTIKO PUT UP A REMARKABLE DEFENSE WHEN OKOJATO AND OTHER NDC MPS PICKED ON HER. MANY IN GHANA HAVE COME TO ADMIRE HER FOR HE COURAGE, HARD WORK AND AND SMARTNESS, ESPECIALLY HER REMARK "THE BABIES WITH SHARP TEETH" IN RESPONSE TO OKODJATO ATTEMPT TO DENIGRATE HER. NOW THAT SHE IS ALREADY APPROVED SHE MUST PUT THE PAST BEHIND HER. SHE MUST FORGET ABOUT NDC EXCEPT WHEN IT BECOMES NECESSARY TO DEFEND HER INTEGRITY FROM THEIR ATTACK. SHE MUST CONCENTRATE ON HOW SHE CAN SUCCEED AT HER MINISTRY. GHANAIANS WOULD NOW MEASURE HER ACCORDING TO HER PERFORMANCE AS A MINISTER AND NOT TO ON HER ATTACK ON NDC. THEY WISH HER TO FAIL AND HER GREATEST ATTACK AGAINST THEM IS TO SUCCEED.
