Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, has expressed his disappointment in a press conference held by the Minority on Tuesday.
The minority National Democratic Congress (NDC) in parliament, on Tuesday, held a press conference to assess the first 100 days of the NPP administration under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Leading the press conference which was held at the precincts of parliament, the Deputy Minority Leader, James Klutse Avedzi among other issues, said it was totally unnecessary and a waste of public resources to create ministries such as the one in-charge of Public Procurement, Ministries of Aviation, Railway Development, Regional Reorganisation and Information.
However speaking to the press conference during a panel discussion on Wednesday's edition of PeaceFM's 'Kokrokoo', Kweku Baako described the press conference as a 'sheer waste of time'.
According to him, the various issues raised by the minority were just 'blank bullets'
"Sheer waste of time…sheer waste of precious time and space…firing of blank bullets."

Ndc party members no c any yet......funny n azar party now in opposition 4 only 3 months n lip services n crying teyyyyyy....I run enter Kweku baako file under......uncle Kweku tell them they jokers
If Bawumia lied, why didn't ndc come out with the correct figue but sit unconcern for ndc to loose by that huge margin.
NDC knows nothing apart from insulting the elderly. You should learn to mature in politics.
Kweku Baako's submissions are not always truthful so no one should take Kweku Baako's criticism of NDC serious. He he is a well-known NPP man and for him, NPP never does anything wrong. He is quick to gloss over what is clearly dispicable of the NPP but quick to condemn NDC for nothing. He loves to sing praises of NPP and belittles NDC's achievements. He is a journalist with facts but his presentations are more bias and untruthful.
NDC's 1ST 100 DAYS IN OPPOSITION IS VERY HORRIBLE IN FACT IN GOVERNMENT PROBLEM AND IN OPPOSITION TOO PROBLEM. THE FACT IS YOU LACK INTERLIGENT PEOPLE AND INTERLECTUALS IN YOUR PARTY AND THIS EXPLAINS YOUR BEHAVES AND ATTITUDE
Frankly ;all those attempting to murder Kweku Baako on the issue of this press conference by the NDc can keep on firing blanks again and again besides the best thing for them is to choose masterbate to please their egos because to me they are just fly by night contributors with no meat on the bones; these NDC varanda boys are just confused with no political strategy to tackle the NPP; to me they are playing a defensive political game hoping to break out and score against the opposition but the field of play so far is that the NPP are playing an offensive political game hoping to score a number of goals before the haf time that in 2 years time ; this strategy means NDC wioll find it difficult to come again ; to me; there are so many issues that the NDC can easily tackle the NPP but because of utter dysfuntion in the NDC they seem to firing blanks as Kweku Baako retorted ; 'WHERE IS THE BIG POLITICAL BUNCH' or CRITIC ON THE ECONOMY NONE !!! on the economy because one of the key areas that led the NDc down was the handling of the economy ; there was nobody to front the economic issues ; Amissah Arthur was uless ; Seth Terpkor was a confused man ; Dr Bawumia ate them all for breakfast and still dominates the economic scene ; WHO IS THE ECONOMIC GURU OF THE NDC -NOBODY !!!!!; for it is the economy 'STOOOOOPID' !!!!! as Bill Clinton said some years ago ;the NPP has made th correct strategic choice 'THE ECONOMY' because once they can control the economy NDC should forget 2020 and their candidate JOn Mahama besides there are good reasons for setting up these seperate departments within the flagstaff because Nana Addo does not TRUST those at the Government Procurement Agency ; it is like a cabal mafia gangsters ripping off the government with the approval of sole sourcing contracts; Aviation and Railways are critical areas for development and no one minister can control the two ministeries besides the claim that Dr Bawumia is lying is rather typical of a spoilt child cryng over promised toys by his parents after the christmas ; the fact is that issues raised by Dr Bawumia in 2013 is gone ; the man lets assume have lied his way to power but the NDC under did not lie ; the question is who are in government today ?NPP ; the NDC should sit down and do a proper SWOT on the NPP and pick areas of governance that they are good at and critise NPP objectively with meat ; these ad hoc jamborees will not help these NDC clowns .
Jm junk Ndc green book had artistic futuristic projects like HO airport and phantom projects like the 6 polyclinics in Western Region as achievements. These NDC party lack research analysts and presidential materials. JM led ***barred word*** lame party is a disaster going forward.
...@Cobbina what do you have to say about issues raised in the news conference...
Well, well well! Kweku Baako never ceases to amaze me. For all these years, I thought that Kweku Baako has been growing away from his one-sided sycophantic praises and unashamed support for NPP even when they lie. I think that it's good for him to be a journalist, but if he had been a politician, he would have been like Dr. Bawuimiah. As we all know, Dr. Bawuimiah has been the number one liar in Ghana for sometime now. (Folks, do you remember how Bawuimiah lied all the time when they had their case at the Supreme Court in 2013?). Mr. Baako never sees anything wrong about NPP. Even when he tries to condemn them, he does it in a gentleman's way as if he has been sent by NPP. I am not too surprised that he was (is) an agent for Kufour (NPP) in the Kufour's era. He is always a total blind man when the NPP is deep neck in a scandals. Baako claims to be CPP but is always in NPP's suit. Hypocrite!
So guys, what was the purpose of the press con- ference? And what did it achieve? For me, NDC appeared lost and without direction. The former President calls a conference, then the party, and then the parliamentary, all talking about the same thing, mostly propaganda. The opposition party is usually given a platform to have their say on issues. They should however not abuse that priviledge.
