Controversial Serial Caller of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Frank Appiah popularly called ‘Appiah Stadium’ said former President John Dramani Mahama is his Jesus Christ.

According to him, the mear sight of the former President turns him on and sets his soul at peace.

Appiah Stadium made the comment while reacting to a report Daily Guide that ex-president went to Kumasi over the weekend in a private jet. Mr. Mahama who is lacing his boots for a comeback is said to have led secret meetings with NDC bigwigs in purpose to gather momentum as NDC flag bearer for the 2020 December elections.

In a rebuttal, the Kumasi-based serial caller on Okay FM said no such meeting took place. He indicated that the former President was present in the Garden City to wine and dine with supporters of the party.

He added that the ex-president after his defeat in the 2016 December elections has many international assignments to execute thus deserves to be wherever he wants and doesn’t need to be bothered.

“John Mahama has worldwide appointments to take care of. How would I be able to know and ask what he came here for? He has the right to be anywhere he wants. A lot of people came around to take pictures with him upon sighting him. We didn’t have any meeting with him concerning the 2020 elections…” he said.

Appiah Stadium said he was priviledged to have met Mr. Mahama in Kumasi because “whenever I see him it is like I have seen Jesus Christ…”

“When I see him [Mahama] it is like I have seen Jesus. Seeing him sparks the euphoria in me. If you take God away, John Mahama is my second Jesus just like Rawlings was Junior Jesus. I was too delighted to even ask him what he came here for. If he is to lobby for 2020, I don’t think it will be at Golden Tulip…” he stated.
