Nana Ofori Owusu, Director of Operations of the Progressive Peoples' Party (PPP), has descended heavily on the Speaker of Parliament and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for holding a public lecture last Friday, August 4.
The NPP government held a public lecture in Accra on the theme "4th August; Ghana's Day of Destiny" as part of activities marking the 60th independence anniversary of Ghana.
Speaking at the lecture was the Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Mike Oquaye who gave a historical account about the actors that fought in the struggle for Ghana's independence.
Giving credit to J.B Danquah, a doyen of Gold Coast politics and one of the big six for his indelible mark on the country's destiny; Prof. Mike Oquaye cautioned the CPP.
According to him, if the CPP is determined to survive, they should concentrate on the NDC which created confusion in the party and not NPP because they (NPP) haven't set out to destroy the CPP.
“The CPP has been penetrated by the newly created NDC . . . and that they have created confusion within the party which was then broken and fragmented into six political parties. And I wrote if the CPP wants to survive, they should not look our way because we are not out to destroy them. They must proceed to extricate themselves from the bowels of the NDC, then they will survive because as at now they are swallowed and as a truism, they know or should know who swallowed them."
The PPP Director of Operations, commenting on the issue on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', has rubbished the NPP public lecture.
He questioned the relevance of the lecture in building the nation.
To him, there are pressing needs of Ghanaians to be addressed by the government; not the partisan "history" lecture they're giving Ghanaians.
He asked the NPP to "focus more on filth. Focus more on hunger. Focus more on water accessibility. Focus more on the creation of jobs to graduates. Focus more on streetism because you have created an educational system that creates 200,000 street children every year. Focus more on building highways to ensure that big trucks can have a place to park to avoid carnage on the streets. Focus more on building an economy that’s so robust that we all will be proud as Ghanaians. Focus more on how to gain revenue for the State to build the Ghanaian economy" and stop their history lessons.

Everything in Ghana today is divided into some segment of political dog fight or ***barred word*** fight in a barrel in which the citizens are as confused as ever since indepedence ; today the real governance of Ghana lies in tatters ;for years the NPP have always sort to estblish the fact that their forebears were the doyens of Ghana politics ; Nana Addo seem to have sleepless nights that his father Edward Akuffo and his great uncle JB Danquah have never had the opportunity to be accorded the accolade of being the real initiators and founders of Ghana's from the British ; then there is the CPP maggots who claim that their founder Kofi Nwiah aka Kwame Nkrumah a great show man and a great manipulator was the founder of the nation Ghana ; WHAT FRAUDESTERS AND UNPATRIOTIC THIFFS !!!!!!because what these people forget is that there were unsung heroes who laid down their lives and died to instigate the independence of Ghana ; SGT Adjetey was killed with others at the castle Osu but today they are all forgotten and nobody even discusses their patritic stand but you these so call arrogant elite called the UGCCC and CPP elite who have completetly wrecked Ghana and dissipated our resources ; today the CPP has sunk into oblivion with other parties like aimless NDC; PNC ;PPP and others seeking to align themselves with the CPP non democratic party that effectively sent Ghana into bankrupcy; we had NDC in power who seem to claim some allegiance to the CPP but sent Ghana over the hill of debt ; now we have Nana Addo and the NPP who claim to be the children of the sons and daughters doyens of Ghana democracy but have started repeating the same mistakes besides Nan Edward Akuffo ;Nana Addo's father's time as a President was never free of scandals in which a ship load full of cocoa went missing ;how did Nana Addos father acquire all the lands and buildings at Adabraka ; NO POLITICIAN IN GHANA TODAY IS IMMUNE FROM STILLING BECAUSE THEIR FAMILIES ARE ALL FRAUDESTERS AND THIFFS !!!!!!!; President K4 government was involved in scandals and bad deeds against the people Ghana ; the government should conncentrate on governance and start getting proper sanitation in Accra ; they stop wallowing in dirt in Accra and rather stop spending their time on how important Dr JB Danquah was in Ghana politics ; whilst the same man was known as a CIA agent underminig Kweame Nkrumah ; these politicians should be told that politics of hate did not start today and that they should start building Ghana stop their stilling !!!!!!!
So PNC has director of operations, it is only today that i am getting to knowooooooooooo, herrrrrrrr okayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. But what is he operating for? eiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii hannnnnnnnnnnn.
This is the reason why any political party that claims the Nkrumah heritage cannot make it in contemporary politics in Ghana. The whole shine is Nkrumah.Political parties like the PNC,CPP PPP must redeem their image by telling the truth.
Whether nana addo likes it or not Nkrumah Never Dies,
Nana Ofori where were you when Rawlings was giving 4th June lectures? Forget about your history and get lost.
Will CPP resurrect again from the bowels of NDC? time will tell.
