The two presidential staffers who were accused of corruption by Kwame Asare Obeng, aka A-Plus, a sympathizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) are elated by CHRAJ’s findings into the matter, saying the outcome is a validation of their innocence.
“We are happy…I am not surprised but whatever it is, it is refreshing to learn about the outcome of the investigation,” Abu Jinapor said.
The Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) exonerated the two presidential staffers: Abu Jinapor and Asenso Boakye of corruption
CHRAJ was petitioned by a group calling itself the Dynamic Youth Movement of Ghana, after the two had been exonerated by controversial investigations by the Criminal Investigations Department [CID].
The Commission says the allegations brought against the two were without merit, “unsubstantiated” and “completely unwarranted.”
Speaking to the issue in an interview on Citi Eyewitness news, Tuesday, Abu jinapor said: “the outcome validates our innocence and we can only be happy with the work they have done and the findings they have come out with.”
“…I have always known that this was much ado about nothing; there was no substance in the allegation; it was a tantrum that was thrown” he added.
Asked if he will continue with his intention of suing A-Plus, Abu Jinapor said the conclusion of the investigation is enough vindication for them, adding “I want to move on with my life…I don’t want to pursue it…”.

Better heed the advise of Abronye and take this loud mouth to court to serve as an example for others. Its not for the sake of your name. Its for the sanctity of the office you occupy and the reputation of the President. The future events will validate this advice if you don't take it
