I don't know anyone but I remember slapping a lady. She didn't approach me and all I saw was that she was taking a picture of me. I thought it was one of Sammy Crabbe's people who wanted to take a picture of me so I slapped her. She didn't look like a journalist, she was looking like a normal lady who sells onions. I want you to withdraw the statement that she's your colleague because I don't know any of your colleagues. - Hajia Fati

Adom FM Journalist Slapped By NPPs Hajia Fati
Adom FM journalist, Ohemaa Sakyiwaa Ahwenepa was on Friday assaulted by popular NPP supporter Hajia Fati at the party headquarters.
Haji Fati allegedly punched the lips of the radio presenter for attempting to take a shot of her.
Narrating the incident, Sakyiwaa said the assault happened after Hajia Fati tried to prevent the suspended Second Vice Chairman of the party, Sammy Crabbe from picking a form for the Chairmanship position.
“Hajia Fati came in after Sammy Crabbe had been asked to go and bring money. Actually, he came with a banker’s draft from the Ghana Commercial Bank, and he was asked to go and bring cash because they were taking cash.
“About 15 minutes after Sammy Crabbe left, Hajia Fati came in very angry and she was saying that she will not allow Sammy Crabbe to pick the [nomination] forms.
“I got closer to her. I wanted to interview her so I took my phone out. I wanted to take a picture and so as soon as she turned, she looked at my face and asked me why I was taking pictures of her. I didn’t utter a word. She punched my mouth, and she almost took the phone from me,” she narrated.
Hajia Fati has been in the news on several occasions for her threats to journalists who report negatively about the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Why are u afraid Nana has dissapointed us big time. He is failing day in and out giving chance to Maham. And nobody should be deceived 2020 probability is skewing against the president. Someone should just check the town and see apathy is setting on for all NPP members
ITS A BAD ATTITUDE , DONT REPEAT THAT AGAIN BEFORE WE HEAD TOWARDS OPPOSITION THANKS
SHE DIDNT SAY THAT. SHE SAID SHE IS DRESSED LIKE SHE HAJIA AN ONION SELLER. SHE WAS WRONG TO ASSAULT BUT LET US REPORT FACTS
You are an ediot. If someone breaks the law do you also break the law as a defense or you report the issue to the police. Gimifo.
Why are u people condemning her, how can u just pick your phone and take a picture of someone without introducing yourself as a journalist when u know the person is in a bad mood. If she had not take a picture of her, she wouldnt have received slaps. Next time
i condemn this action but the journalist should at make her aware before taking pictures
Come on nana Addo, you are gradually disappointing most of us. Why should you be allowing such characters to continue to misbehave simply because they helped you oust kwabena and afoko. This woman is increasingly becoming unbecoming and must be tamed before she sends us to opposition. Come on, this is a journalist who has been slapped and scandalized by this woman. Recently the police also beat a journalist up. This is something we normally see in NDC, but it's now becoming too often we us. This witch has to be stopped
WHERE FROM THIS ***barred word*** CALL HAJIA FATI?IS SHE A HOMO SAPIENS OR A CANNIBAL.THE LAW MUST DEAL WITH TO SET AN EXAMPLE.SHE'S A DISGRACE TO WOMANHOOD.I WONDER IF SHE HAS CHILDREN. I IMPLORE THE GJA OR MEDIA COMMISSION TO TAKE UP THE MATTER
This savage of a woman should be jailed! We have chosen the path of democracy, even if we don't fully understand it. That means we have a right to be heard as much as others even if we disagree with them. We have a right to have a different opinion against the chorus without fear of intimidation. It is therefore extremely barbaric for anyone to assault another person for holding contrary views to hers/his. In any law-abiding institution that values democracy and the rule of law this woman should have been expelled from the party for such "undemocratic" behaviour. The common narrative in this country is that we often let such criminal behaviours go unpunished because of political expediency. We don't just have the courage to correct wrong behaviour for fear of losing political goodwill.I ask the journalist to press charges against this savage of a supporter! Enough of the attack on our journalist!
***barred word*** talk. Are you better than the Onion seller? If our party harbors all such ***barred word*** , how can we move forward? I am calling on the Lady and her employers ( multi media)to go to court and put sense in the head of that woman who thinks she owns NPP. ***barred word*** kwa.
