Deputy Communications Director of the National Disaster Management Organization [NADMO], Jennifer Oforiwaa Queen has charged members of the NDC to remain mute if they can’t make affirmative declarations ever in their lives.
Discussing the Nations Builders Corps (NaBCo) on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ propramme, Jennifer Oforiwaa lamented that the response from the largest opposition party in respect to governments new employment mechanism is not fair since the move is for the betterment of the nation.
“How can they [members of the NDC] conclude that the Nation Builders Corps project will not succeed when it has not yet started? Is it because they failed on their employment promises, but borrowed beyond the developmental projects embarked on during their regime?” he asked.
According to her, it is not that she does not want NDC members not to criticize her government, but they should as well “remain silent if they can’t praise it good works”.
“Yes, NDC is in opposition and have the privilege to criticize government if things are not addressed in the right direction, therefore is it that they have not recognized any positive actions from this government, the reason behind their frequent negative taught”, she said.
