Mr Razak Kwadjo Opoku, the Founder/Leader of the Concerned Voters Movement (CVM), a pressure group, said the Movement is surprised about the unsubstantiated allegations levelled against the Ace Investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, for his contribution in the fight against corruption.
He said: “Anas Aremeyaw Anas is not an employee of Government and his investigative work is not sponsored by the Government or any political party.”
Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Accra at the weekend, Mr Opoku said those criticising the investigative methodology of Anas had been unable to provide Ghanaians with a credible alternative to fighting corruption.
He said Anas was a tried, tested and trusted investigative journalist with worldwide recognition and that “as Ghanaians, we would not allow haters to destroy his credibility and integrity.”
Mr Opoku said: “The brand and reputation of Anas is solid as a rock and no counter video/audio or distorted material evidence can destroy his trusted works.
“Anas deserves even more property than he is having now, considering his patriotic, selfless and solid contribution to the State as far as the fight of corruption is concerned”
He said Anas was a hero and deserved commendation and not condemnation, adding; “Amazingly, those attacking Anas have questionable integrity and credibility deficiencies.”

@kwabena anas strategy is to expose corrupt officials, part of his this is to test the waters and if one is not corrupt he/she will reject. why it that only npp administration is putting impediments/proving difficult. why did ndc not behave similar fashion. does npp have more corrupt officials than ndc. It's very disappointing for npp officials to behave this way. Is akuffo addo part of the create loot and share using family and friends.I am ashamed at ghana. The corrupt and ***barred word*** are at top. if ghana wants to fight corruption then common sense should prevail, unfortunately common sense is not common and will not be common to npp. You cannot look at someones face and tell the public that person is corrupt. the practise is you test the waters so all those idiiots with big peak criticisizing anas method are the very corrupt ones hiding behind party politics. Mind you ghana is for ghanaians and not for npp or any individual. I do understand why we are SHITHOLE because common sense does not work with all the PHD's and so forth and so called experts. They are all uselessssss, backwards, fuuuuuls and behaving like monkeys
My brother, I have heard you but let me make a statement of fact. No man is infallible. Heroes have turned vallians in this world because of our human nature. In biblical Jewish days, King Solomon who built the temple of God, died in the temple of idols. Let us wait for Ken to show his video, that is, if he has any, then we can draw our various conclusions.
