Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, says though he is against the methods of investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, he misses him sometimes.
Touting the professional prowess of the investigative journalist, the controversial legislator said he is sometimes tempted to embrace Anas' style of investigations because of the conduct of some state officials.
Anas has filed a ¢25 million against Mr Agyapong at the High Court after a series of publications by the MP which he considered were defamatory.
The publications sought to discredit the investigative journalist, who has released a piece on the rot in Ghana football titled; #Number12.
Mr Agyapong screened a video on his television station Net 2 TV which suggested that Anas allegedly demanded a bribe of $100,000 from suspects in a gold scam case he had been contracted to investigate by a foreign company.

It's supposed to: unveil the corruption is all Anas could do. He can prosecute. He gives the indication and allows state institutions to follow by doing their own investigation leading to indictment, but that's the original problem! Failure to jail people reinforces their capacity to repeat bad behavior! Otherwise, in a Christian-leaning society like ours, why should it take all this while to stem corruption and bad behavior when day in day out, we behave as if we're the most intelligent in this world? Anas in only an individual with a conscience. If he isn't hypocritical, then about a thousand more Anasses should be making a difference in Ghana.
A mor00nish legislator acts and talks without thinking twice. All of Ken Agyapongs rantings and noise are so to intimidate politicians for contracts. Even 100 million contract is not enough for him.
Anas method doesn't fight corruption. it's just a one flash kind of thing which is mainly initiated by hatred and selfish interest. check the places that he has done his so called investigative work and see if his work has any impact when it comes fighting corruption. go to cocobod, our harbours and even the judiciary. his approach is not sustainable and it's not surprising that he sees the impact of his work through the number of people who lose their job or get jailed after investigating a particular place. it's lazy thinking for some Ghanaians to mention his name when it comes to fighting corruption. Ken don't allow anyone to coerce you to stop what u're doing to expose this corrupt Anas guy. u're the only one Ghana have now to check those who steeal from us in the name of protecting or fighting for us. Anas must be stopped from his bad deeds!
