James Kwabena Bomfeh Jnr., popularly known as ‘Kabila’, has suggested that the nation needs no more laws to counteract acts of vigilantism.
He was reacting to the Vigilante Bill that was sent to Parliament by the Attorney General, Gloria Akuffo on Thursday.
The Bill when passed into an Act will disband activities of vigilantism and prohibit the formation of such groups in Ghana.
This was in compliance with a directive given by President Akufo-Addo.
Kabila who was contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ said the nation’s problem is not the lack of laws but the will to implement.
“We have enough laws already; our problem is non-adherence, non-commitment, insincerity, deception; these are the problems, we should face reality and accept our current state and change," he urged.
