The 2020 general elections is just around the corner and the Eastern Regional Chapter of the Loyal Ladies – a volunteer group under the youth wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), says it will not sit aloof for the time to approach before they do the needful.

The group is currently embarking on a house-to-house, door-to-door and shop-to-shop campaign as part of preparations towards the dee day come 2020.

The group has been storming communities with the Akuapem North Municipal Assembly Newspaper as the reference point to showcase the party's projects in the area.

The 20-page newspaper dubbed "Akuapem North Municipality News" showcases numerous projects constructed and currently ongoing in the municipality from January 2017 to January 2019.

It showcases the projects done by the Akufo-Addo led government in the area.

The newspaper was launched in June by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Dennis Miracles Aboagy.

He explained that the paper summarises the projects in the municipality on the front page, and also details of which are in the inside pages.

The news magazine also includes sectors and locations in the municipality for various investment opportunities including real estate, tourism sites, events center, health spa, golf course, educational institutions, agricultural activities, and sports center among others.

In view of this, the Akuapem North Chapter of the Loyal Ladies Group is leading the campaign to render a public account by the Assembly to the residents to know what their monies are being used for.
