The Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah has been advised to apologize to families of the missing Takoradi girls.
Maame Yaa Tiwaa courted controversy when she said at a press conference some months ago that the Police knew the whereabouts of the girls; a statement which they now claim it was based on false information received from the suspect.
A DNA report conducted on some human skeletons collected confirmed the kidnapped girls dead, and calls have emerged again demanding for Maame Yaa Tiwaa's resignation.
Speaking to this on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', social commentator, Bernard Allotey Jacobs said the CID boss must go and apologize to the families.
