The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged Ghanaians to ignore fabrications by former President John Dramani Mahama and his National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The Minister of Zongo and Inner City Development who doubles as the Deputy Campaign Manager of the NPP, Dr. Mustapha Hamid called on Ghanaians to eschew the lies by the NDC aimed at making the government unpopular.
Dr. Mustapha Hamid, during a press conference in Accra, said Mr. Mahama and members of the NDC are playing on the emotions of Ghanaians for their electoral gains.
To him, the NDC has picked signals of their overwhelming defeat in the impending elections, hence their resort to lies and calls not to accept the result of the elections.
He called on the populace and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to condemn NDC’s misinformation to the public and fear-mongering.
