Some if not many Ghanaians complain about facing hardships under the Akufo-Addo administration.
The country is also said to have exhausted its lifeline and now seeks a bailout from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to rescue the nation from going down the abyss of economic downturn.
From all indications, there are some Ghanaians who are utterly disappointed in President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's leadership but to Bernard Allotey Jacobs, a former NDC Regional Chairman, Ghanains can however heave a sigh of relief.
Joining a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show "Kokrokoo", Allotey Jacobs wouldn't ignore the sufferings of Ghanaians as a result of the country's economic crises, nonetheless he strongly believes Ghanaians have something to be grateful to the current adminstration for.
He noted that in the face of the difficulties confronting the nation, Ghanaians can still find food to eat; hence, to him, this alone should tell that it is not all that depressing.
"The miracle in our worst economy is about workers always receiving their salary...The miracle in this worst economy is that everybody eats three times a day. Nobody in this country including Thompson can say he or she doesn't eat," Allotey Jacobs extolled the Akufo-Addo government.

No wonder you left the Ndc and now praising nana addo cos of your stomach. Don’t come and add sand to our challenges in the party
Hmmmm, now we are being told life is all about eating. Once you are able to eat 3 times a day nothing matters again. You must be a magician to know that "everybody eats three times a day ". Difficulty in paying school fees don't matter, difficulty in paying for utilities don't matter, difficulty in paying for medical bills don't matter. All that matters is food. To Allotey Jacobs Ghanaians don't eat to live but rather we live to eat.
