The Managing Editor of Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr, provided a historical background of NPP's presidential aspirants during Tuesday's a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo'.
The NPP will conduct a Special Delegates Conference to trim the number of candidates vying for the party's flagbearer position from ten to five and, in November, hold their main Conference where a flagbearer will be elected to lead the party into the 2024 elections.
Some 900 delegates will partake in the Special Delegates Congress
Kwesi Pratt, who claimed to be familiar with some of the aspirants, shared how they contributed to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in various ways.
However contributing to the programme in a text message, a texter criticized Kwesi Pratt for leaving out Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

Meanwhile, the aspirants contesting for the flagbearer position are: Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Kwadwo Poku, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Boakye Agyarko, Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, Joe Ghartey and Francis Addai-Nimoh.
