Ken Ohene Agyapong, a flagbearer aspirant of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has described the NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Bosiako, popularly known as "Wontumi" as a "coward" and challenged him to confront him directly instead of resorting to legal action.
The controversy unfolded during a live interview on Starr Chat, where Mr Agyapong was asked about recent reports that Wontumi intends to a police complaint against him.
In response, Mr Agyapong openly questioned Wontumi's actions, implying that reporting him to the police was an act of cowardice.
"Why will Wontumi report me to the police if I dare him? That's cowardice," Agyapong declared during the interview.
"He should face me face to face because that's what bold men do."
