The National Democratic Congress (NDC) says the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) served Ghanaians with real hardship in 2023.
A new year message by the party and signed by its Chief Scribe, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey said the economic hardship on Ghanaians was unbearable.
He, however, called on Ghanaians to recognize the 2024 election as an opportunity to shape a brighter future.
“As we bid farewell to 2023, a year marked by economic hardships inflicted by the current NPP government, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) extends warm New Year wishes to the resilient people of Ghana,” Mr. Kwetey stated.

Oh.... for only 1yr? We suffered for close to 30yrs under (P)NDC.
Only for 1 yrs? We suffered for 4yrs plus and even some died during that time. What are you talking about?
Fifi the Togolese..... go to your country
These same propaganda that took you to opposition is still being done. We were not in Heaven when you guys were in power.
NDC party and the leader John Mahama are good at deceiving and lying to the good people of Ghana. As if NDC has never tasted power in the history of Ghana and now pretend to be saints especially that good for nothing Fifi Kwatey ,Infact, Ghanaians have witnessed their governance and we conveniently conclude that NPP is far better than NDC in terms of the management of the economy. Another worrying trend is that NDC leaders was a president and what did Ghanaian want through was unbearable and that led their humiliated defeat in the year 2016 and NDC lack of quality leadership repackage same old chaff for Ghanaians voters to come and perform worse again. You sometimes hear NDC saying Mahama has learnt a lesson to perform better this time around , Very shallow and uninspired messages to potential voters .INDEED NDC AND MAHAMA HAS NOTHING TO OFFER GHANAIAN S
With the election of these liars as NDC leaders, oppostion is their place forever...Mahama and NDC doesn't have anything for Ghana.BAWUMIA toaso!
Hmmmm, at times one wonders what these so called politicians take Ghanaians for. This boy is speaking as if this is the first time the NDC is making an attempt to come to power. If the NDC in government was that good, how come they lost miserably in the 2016 elections. I keep saying it's the refusal of the the current president to listen and adhere to sound advice that is making the NDC feel they are a better alternative if not they would have gone into hiding. Any leader who thinks his views, thoughts and wishes are more superior than other people's views will end up representing nobody but himself. Between the NDC and NPP, the NPP is closer to "breaking the 8" . Unfortunately Akuffo Addo and his appointees have come to make Mahama look like a saint. If Kufuor was running the affairs of the state like we are currently witnessing, bet me, there was no way the NPP will come to power. The fact that Akuffo Addo led with 49%+ in the 2008 elections tells you how popular the NPP was after 8 years in office thanks to the efforts of kufour. Kufuor had his ears on the ground and listened a lot. Kufour made sure the party was closely following government in every step he took thus making the NPP very vibrant and active throughout his reign. He gave a lot of power to the party's executive at the constituency, regional and national levels. Today MMDCE's , ministers are more powerful than party executives. Some ministers don't even recognize party executives as part of the team. This is the challenge Bawumia is likely to face in his bid to win the 2024 elections. The party grassroots are not happy. Fear people who are quiet, they can be very dangerous. If you are farmer who knows the importance of the hoe, you occasionally go to where you kept it to be sure it's still intact. If you wait for the rains to fall and now go to pick the hoe to the farm to weed, either you may not find it or ants would have chopped off the wooden part. The current NPP appointees don't know those who will attend their mothers funeral. Maybe they have made new friends to rely on. 2024 is with us. Let's see how the hoes to do the weeding on the farm are still intact. A 2017 newly born elephant with very big ears as usual, unfortunately it doesn't listen, at best it hears but won't listen.
Liar. Your time at Agric ministry recorded zero growth. Good for propaganda.
As if you made Ghanaians enjoy in your reign, what is so excruciating than to sleep in darkness for most of your day and still pay the bills. It's unfortunate but the NDC in their 27 or so years in government is nothing but to enrich themselves and give jobs to their folks.
WE HAVE A SHORT MEMORY INDEED! LOOK AT WHO IS TALKING ABOUT SUFFEREING?
