Many movie fans have been battling with the issue of who among their favorites will come tops when they are critically ranked and positioned by industrial players.
It has also been asked time and again as to why there is nothing like Ghana Movie Awards which will seek to reward movie makers for their tremendous contribution in making Ghana movies a viable venture.
It is in the wake of this that your newly introduced www.ghanaianmovie.com decided to make it a point to run what can be called an opinion poll to find out who will be on tops when it comes to rating and positioning actors and actresses in Ghana. Though this poll was not done by industrial players who know the in`s and outs of the movie industry, fans were asked to vote for their favorites in the movie world.
The poll has been running for the past two months and we wish to put in print what has been gathered so far. The selection was not done in any order except the fact that they were selected on the number of movies we have seen them in.
It will be good to let readers know that, this voting was not done by any network or with any short code but strictly by people who have been able to visit the website. So what it means is that, no matter how popular one actor or actress might be, your chances depend on whether you have fans who visit the website.
Another will be opened soon with different faces especially those new entrants to find out who among them is the most promising star in the movie industry. Log on to www.ghanaianmovie.com for your votes to be counted as well.
