Venus Films, One of the leading movie production houses in Ghana, notable for making stars and discovering talents in the movie industry with over 160 movies to its credit, is set to premiere another blockbuster epic movie titled ‘Prince Of Tamale’ at the Silver Bird cinemas on 3rd October, 2014.

The movie which stars top movie stars like: Jackie Appiah, Prince David Osei, Kalsoum Senare, Kofi Adjorlolo, and others, has been described by movie critics who had the opportunity to watch the preview copy at Venus films Office in Dansoman as one of the best movie shot by Venus Films in recent times.

In a chat with the CEO of Venus Films, Alhaji Abdul Salam Mumuni, he said most English film producers are running away from shooting an epic movie because of the stress and expenses involve in it but it’s a type of movie which portrays Ghanaians culture and that of Africa.

He narrated that some English producers also stopped producing epic movies because it got to a time customers’ interest shifted to the glamour. “It’s all about doing it and doing it well. Also, we shouldn’t always be telling the sex-relationship stories but also some natural, cultural stories that portrays reality” he said.

Talking about his new movie, ‘Prince Of Tamale’ which’s set to premiere on 3rd October, 2014 at the Silver Bird cinemas and 5th at Tamale, he said that the movie is about ‘Kingship’ the dignity or rank or position of a king.

He urgd movie fans to make it a point to attend the movie premiere at Silver Bird cinema on 3rd October and in Tamale on 5th amidst meet the stars in the movies as they interact with them, take photographs and also take autographs.
