Madam, Movie making is a business. All you have to do is up your creativity.
more is yet to come rest assured
We are in the technolgucal world. U can't force People do buy video CDs. People get easy assess to movies.I remember the olden days concert. Nana Ampadu,City Boys, Amakye Dede, Akofena and the test. The time of commedies Nkomode, Okala, Akrobeto, Agya koo and the rest. Amagye Dede, Akrobeto and Agya koo were able to survive for some tome now because they were able to adapt.Somee of u were in Nigeria. What happés to Nigeria movie industry.
Your movies are dying because of poor content and bad script. Your movies are all about s.e.x! s.e.x!! s.e.x.!!! or about a man or woman who has snatched somebody's wife or boyfriend. This one way movie will surely die. Some of us prefers the Kumawood movies to that of your so called Self-Made English movies, at least Lin Win will make you release some stress. You guys better back-up with your story lines.
As long as the economy is fukkked up and Ghanaians DO NOT HAVE DISPOSABLE income, creative arts industry such as MOVIES are DEAD. Nana Addo has to hurry up and FIX the economy so that GHanaians become richer, spend less of their income on food/rent. It is only then that they have the kind of disposable income that the movie industry lives on.
MADAM YVONNE PLEASE DONT BURDEN THE GOVERNMENT WITH YOUR PROBLEMS IN THE FILM INDUSTRY.THE GOVERNMENT HAS OTHER PRESSING ISSUES FOR NEED OF GHANAIANS TO ATTEND TO.DO YOU KNOW WHY YOUR INDUSTRY IS COLLAPSNG? ALL BECAUSE YOU DONT HAVE GREAT THINKERS AMONG YOU.LOOK AT NIGERIA FOR INSTANCE.THEIR FILMS WERE ADORED BY PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD.I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE NIGERIAN FILMS BEING SOLD IN EUROPE,AMERICA AND AS FAR AWAY IN BRAZIL WHICH IS A PORTUGUESS SPEAKING COUNTRY WITH MY OWN EYES.GO TO ASIA AND YOU SEE NIGERIAN FILMS ON THE MARKET. NOT A SINGLE GHANAIAN FILM DID I SEE BEING SOLD IN BRAZIL OR ASIA.CAN YOU IMAGINE THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE THEY GENERATED FOR THEIR INDUSTRY WITHOUT GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION? GET YOUR ACTS TOGETHER AND IF YOU GUYS CAN'T MAKE A HEADWAY,FIND GREAT THINKERS TO HELP YOU PROGRESS .THATS WHAT YOU NEED AND NOT HANDOUTS FROM THE GOVERNMENT.
People that have comment here are unbelievable. Ghanaians is about time we support our own. I don't see anything wrong with what the young lady is doing here. If you have any ideas for her share it, if you don't, no need to attack her personality after all she is doing something to help Ghana. You sit behind your computer screen and attack people you have never even meet. Question yourself what have you done to help Ghana, if we can all be brave as Yvonne and do our bit to help Ghana, I am sure Ghana will be a better place for you and I. The movie industry could create jobs for young people in Ghana. "Second lady regard KUMKUM BAGYA" you are happy to see KB ON YOUR TV screen while those Indians will not show anything on their TV screen from Ghana. Those Indians have no respect for black people, why give them room in Ghana?
LOOK AT HER... WAS IT THE MOVIE INDUSTRY YOU WERE CONCERNED ABOUT OR DUMSOR VIGIL??.. YOU LET YOURSELF BLEACHED SELF TO BE USED BY OPPORTUNISTS AND YOU COME ACTING WHILES THERE ARE A LOT OF ECONOMIC WE FACING. DEMONSTRATE ON THEM AND NOT THAT INDUSTRY...
This girl again? she is suffering from attention deficiency syndrome.
I remember the movie industry in the 90's and early 20's, what is happening to our dear country? it looks like everything is going the opposite way.
