The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) on Friday called on Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur to inform him about a proposed fund for ageing musicians.
The fund is intended to address the welfare and financial needs of musicians in their old age.
It is part of the innovative ways of addressing some of the challenges facing the local music industry.
Vice President Amissah-Arthur lauded MUSIGA for this endeavour and assured it of government�s continuing support for the industry.
