America�s Gospel Artiste Fred Hammond storms the country this weekend for the maiden edition of FREEDOM CONCERT.
The concert which will be held on Saturday the 15th of March 2014 at the Accra Sports Stadium is to commemorate Ghana�s Independence Day Celebration, to unite the nation, foster peace and tolerance among Ghanaians.
Ministering alongside Fred Hammond are Ghana�s own ministers Cwesi Oteng, Ohemaa Mercy, Mary Ghansah, Joe Mettle, Francis Amo, Soul-Winners and a host of others.

About Fred Hammond
Fred Hammond is a multiple Grammy, Dove, Stellar award winner and nominee as a performer,producer and writer. Fred is an active member of the gospel performing group called Commissioned and also as a solo artist (currently for Verity Records).
He first gained recognition while playing the bass guitar for the gospel group The Winans. By 1985 he was one of the six original members of the group Commissioned, participating in 10 of the group�s 12 albums.
After parting ways with Commissioned, he formed another music group called Radical for Christ selling millions of albums with them. Fred made a come back to his first love, the music group called Commissioned in 2002 to record the Commissioned Reunion Live album with Keith Staten, Marvin Sapp, Mitchell Jones, Karl Reid, Michael Williams and Marcus Cole.
He also performs with Sean Combs on the album Thank You. Notable singles of the Fred Hammond includes; Speak Those Things, Hooked on the Hits, Somethin �Bout Love, Free to Worship, Love Unstoppable, God Love & Romance, United Tenors, Let the praise Begins, Power, King of Glory, All things are working, Celebrate his life, By Faith Feat. Fred has won six Dove Awards, four Stellar Awards and one Grammy Award. And featured prominently on the Billboard. But for his over 45 nominations on Dove, Stellar and Grammy Awards we can say Ghana shall be on its knees to worship, praise and dance.
