Television and radio presenter Delores Frimpong Manso aka Delay is giving out free ladies shoes and bags to outdoor the newly-opened Djorwulu branch of her Smooch leather shop.

Delay, over the weekend officially opened the third branch of Smooch in Djorwulu in the Queens Star Building directly opposite the Martins Memorial Hospital near the Djorwulu traffic light.

The showbiz personality, NEWS-ONE has gathered, has a whole shelf of brand new designer shoes and bags which she would be giving out for free to clients who visit the shop and reports say the unprecedented offer is costing her a huge fortune.

In what appears to be a smart marketing strategy, Delay has also slashed the price of her shoes and bags by over 50 percent.

The grand opening of the branch over the weekend attracted an endless list of showbiz personalities. Smooch also has a branch at Mataheko and Achimota, all in Accra.

Last December, Delay told NEWS-ONE that she had not less than 700 pairs of shoes whose prices ranged between GH25 and $3000.

For a single individual to own over 700 pairs of shoes means even if she changed shoes on a daily basis, it would take her some two years to wear each of her shoes.

In this country, no one has more shoes than I do. From time to time I pack them in bags and dash them out but I still have more and continue to add to my stock.

You know I own shoe shops and when I buy my stock, I take the ones I like; sometimes 10, or 15 and after some time, I realised that I have so many shoes and there are times I have about three pairs of the same type of shoes, she told NEWS-ONE.
