In commemorating the day dubbed; love day, we hit the streets of Accra to receive good will and love messages from some Ghanaian celebrities to their loved ones. Who knows, you can pick a few lines for your loved ones.
Black Stars defender Jerry Akaminko and local movie star Kweku Manu also had something for their loyal fans.
Kweku Manu to his fans: Im love you, Im kiss you, in fact, I c**p you. Ghanafo monyinaa mo ye mi taste. Its 14th February, and we have the opportunity to show people how much we love them. My first wish will therefore go to you my special friends (my fans). You have been faithful and have seen in no small way getting me this far. I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you. I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you
I love you I love you. I hope this is enough to sustain you until 14th February 2015? HAPPY VALENTINE
Jerry Akaminko to Ghanaians: Happy vals day good people of Ghana. From my base in Eskishir, Turkey, I can only reminisce the days I celebrated vals day in Ghana with fond memories. I know the celebration has actually been taken to another level. Seven years ago we were giving cards, now it starts from a Champaign or chocolate, to ipod, iphone all the way to ipad, right until you realize your wallet is empty, and scream! Its all good since love remains the center of it. Would have loved to give every Ghanaian a special gift but I have decided to reserve it for come June if given the chance. As for footballers, we show our love on the pitch. Our heart is grass, our love is ball. HAPPY HAPPY VALENTINES DAY.
