Actor John Dumelo is certainly keeping an eagle eye on the business opportunities available to famous showbiz persons as he has announced he would be unveiling his new cosmetic brand this December.

John made the announcement Wednesday and said he was going to dedicate his time to marketing it on social media.

“My cosmetic line will be launched in December and I plan to use my social media as well as other conventional methods to market it,” the fine actor told NEWS-ONE yesterday.

John remains one of the few Ghanaian celebs who keep expanding and creating formidable brand names through their popularity in both mainstream media and social media.

He is currently not only excelling in his first love—acting—but also has investments in real estate, film schools and a clothing line. The new cosmetic line will be the next feat for him.

The actor and businessman, John Dumelo, is currently the first Ghanaian, and perhaps the first African, in the African film industry to hit “two million likes” on Facebook.

“With majority of fans on Facebook from Ghana, Nigeria and other African countries, getting to two million likes on Facebook is no mean achievement and I pray my growing fan base gets to about three million likes by middle of next year.

“Indeed this is a great achievement. The power of social media can’t be underestimated; if used positively, it can transform lives the world over. I thank God first of all and my fans all over for this great milestone,” he added.
