Samini and Lil Wayne displayed an incredible performance at the Kasapreko Air-Force Bitters Street jams held at the X-5 pub on December 24 in Kumasi.
The X-5 pub which has a large outdoor ground space was filled to capacity and thousands of patrons were at the gate trying to find their way through to also catch a glimpse of the various performances.
The Comedian cum rapper Lil Wayne mounted the sage with so much energy. His presence alone sent loads of cheers among the teeming crowd.
Lil Waynes Woto Mpo Ne Na Waduane sent the crowd wild. His rap was also on point. He displayed different dance moves to the amusement of many who doubted his capabilities in stage craft.
At a point, he started removing his clothes and throwing them out to the crowd. He teasingly said his boxer was not clean enough hell have given that too as well.
The Linda-Hit maker, Samini also dropped hit song after hit song with a live band. He spent over one hour on stage singing both his old songs and current ones.
His latest Iskoki got patrons gyrating and singing in unison as he performed. Samini really knows how to move the crowd, as he made sure the audience sang along with him throughout his stage performance.
Okyeame Kwame, Abrantie Amakye Dede and Kofi Kinaata were equally on top of their game and as usual thrilled the crowd with their hit songs leaving the crowd yearning for more.
Officials of Kasapreko expressed their shock at the turn out of the event, it exceeded their expectation. Even though we wanted to entertain the people of Kumasi this Christmas, we didnt envisage this kind of crowd.
We are happy the people of Kumasi enjoyed themselves, said Gerrard Bonsu, Marketing Manager of Kasapreko Company Limited.
The show has been adjudged by the people of Kumasi as the biggest event of the year and have called on organisers to bring it back next year.
