Ghanaian rap superstar Sarkodie has never hidden his admiration for fellow Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
The strong bond between the two artistes was shown last year when they both staged a show to coincide with the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards after they pulled out of the event.
They have also done some songs together in the past including the hit songs “Dancehall Commando” and “Megye Wo Girl”. Shatta Wale likes to refer to himself as dancehall king despite the argument it generates among the fans of other dancehall arts especially Samini and Stonebwoy.
On twitter this morning, Sarkodie wrote Shatta Wale’s name with a crown attached to it which seems to suggest the rapper is endorsing Shatta Wale as the King of dancehall.
