Yvonne Okoro seems to have all the attributes of an ideal woman and must certainly be the envy of most women.
She is very beautiful, a celebrity, has a career, multiple awards to her name, produced her own movies and has a good sense of humour too.
And of course all the men too. But no that is not so. With all these to her credit, one would think the A-List actress would have men falling over themselves to catch her attention but it seems those attributes are rather scaring the men away.
The Ghana Must Go actress revealed she has been single for more than two years because men just do not have the courage to approach her.
“The issue is men don’t have balls to come forward to ask me out because they think I am already hooked or perhaps I am very high maintenance”, she told Showbiz in an interview last Friday during the launch of Glam Africa Magazine in Accra.
“Also, I may still be single because most people think celebrities are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing partners but that is a very wrong perception.
“A good number of celebs are single because they are confused as to who to accept in their life. You see, you are not sure if the person is coming in because of your fame and money or the person wants to be with you because of real love” she added.
She however quickly made it known that although she is not in any romantic relationship currently, she is not in a rush to date and she will not accept just any man who comes along too.
“It is not about money but if a man is not brave enough to come forward then I do not think I want to be with such a person. Anyway, who wants to be with a timid man? She queried.
Contrary to the perception people may have, she does not really have eyes for high society men. She is ready to date a man who will understand her and make her happy.
“Most ladies will think of the money first but that is not what I look for when considering a man I want to be in a relationship with. I first want my happiness and a man who will always be there for me. He should be hard working, responsible and with a bright future” she said.
Asked if she has not come across such a man yet, Yvonne said “No I haven’t but I hope to meet him very soon”, she added.
Away from her love life, Yvonne Okoro who is planning to come out with her new TV show Cooking with….. said the movie industry is collapsing and she blames it solely on sponsorship.
“I totally agree with anyone who says the movie industry is collapsing. Truth is, it is difficult getting sponsors for a movie and that is the reason most producers especially the English movie producers are not shooting movies anymore”.
Looking into the future, Yvonne Okoro disclosed she hopes to land an action role in an action movie soon.
“I think it will be interesting to play an action role. I have never tried such roles before and I wish to take up that challenge very soon” she added.

KAA never said it's a crime to have baby without being married neither did KAA judged anyone. Unless you did not understand the English written down there. All that KAA was advocating for was that; 1. Do not live your life to please others, 2. Do not over look the humble guys out there whom you can start a successful life with. 3. SOME of our ladies in the lime light who are supposed to be the role model to our young ones ends up having children without a husband as results of the above, 4. KAA reckons this could be avoided; if our dear ladies could just be humble and seek to find someone they can start life with, 5. KAA was happy that Nana Amma is married after a difficult start (in terms of marriage). I don't think his/her submission was bad as you responded. The truth is one and KAA said it all.

I DON'T THINK GUYS FEAR HER BUT RATHER THEY DON'T WANT PROBLEM AND WHAT MAKE HER THINK THAT MEN FEAR HER
Honestly I like this woman so much. Can somebody give me her number
What is this ***barred word*** about "men are scared of me because.....". It is a cliche and a myth that because you are whatever men should be falling at your feet. Women want to be capitalists if it suits them and socialists when the occasion brings itself. Look, men are clever this time around so they are not falling at peoples feet left right centre. If you are a capitalist at work that is fine but if you want to be a socialist in your social life go and chat men up. There is equality now so you have to do what men have been doing for ages. If you cant chat men up stay put. A new dawn is cast.
You talk papa, if someone is born one is it a crime or what at least she is better than ur sisters who abort all the babaies in their wombsjust wit the intetion of getting married before irth and yet cant abstain from s3x, u were talking sense small but u ended up destroying all with immatured comments, do u know what Nana went tru in her first marriage to make her quit? then shuttt up cos she knows whats best for her and stop judging them cos u are not perfect either. count the number of exxx u have and ask urself why................abufusem
Hmm it shall be with her
MFS......................
The problem with most of our ladies in the lime light is that, they always think about what others will say about their choices or what they do. But you can't live a life focusing on others interests or opinions. There are genuine humble guys out there who could make you fell a real woman and create a home for you but you want that fairy tale marriages you have been seeing in the movies. You want people with names hence the problem with most of our ladies like Jackie Appiah, Nana Aba Anamoah, Jocelyn Dumas, Mizbel; all now single mothers. 'Born Ones' with no husbands. It took the broken heart from Nyanya for Yvone Nelson to escape that. Thank God Nana Amma landed second marriage at age 41. People like Yvonne Okoro, Delay, The Arrogant Lydia Forson, etc are all gradually approaching this similar path. This could be avoided; just be humble and seek to find someone you can start life with.
Hahahha she now wants to settle down....no one is interested in you...marry your money.
