The pressure is real folks, especially in a traditional society like Ghana. You start approaching a certain age, especially as a woman, and every other question you get is about when you are going to walk down the aisle.
Amusingly, some of these questions come from other single people like yourself and celebrated playwright Uncle Ebo Whyte has described such people as ‘stupid’.
In a recent interview with KSM, Ebo Whyte said pressuring another person to get married is the stupidest thing one can do.
“I get very irritated and very angry at the people who want to push everybody to get married. Asking someone to be getting ready to marry is the most stupid thing ever to say if you’re not married” he told the legendary satirist.

Bless you.
It seems like pressure but it most at times for the good of the people. Some do not realise the importance of marriage until they enter. Parents would pressurised you for a good reason. Its not that they are not thinking.
Man uv spoken well. Pressure s)))))n dey dey give people. Esp Church of Pentecost people. And @ the end of there is regression leading to all sort of issues. Baddest!!!!
you could just say ....obnoxious"thing one can do" instead of stupidest.
Fanastic peice of writing. some of these people even quotes the Bibile very wrongly to push people to get married wrongly.
U have spoken my mind. That's all.
