You have made some interesting comments and a few others are commenting on the poor nature of the roads in Ghana yet ask yourselves what is the real mindset of most Ghanaians? Take a good look at the Jeep and what I see is an accident damaged vehicle imported into Ghana shoddily patched up and sold for profit without a single thought for the long term consequences. The central pillar of the vehicle is faulty, the airbags deployed wrongly, the usual impact bars of a jeep are not present et cetera yet there are many such vehicles on the roads of Ghana. There is a place at Dansoman where certain mechanics are using the main road for parking broken down vehicles forcing people to walk in the middle of the road and also causing problems for other drivers. I have personally reported this to the AMA section responsible for dealing with such problems but because I refuse to bribe them nothing is being done. I even wrote to their legal department and took the letter there personally and still nothing. I stopped some policemen on the road and complained to them about it yet their response was that it has nothing to do with them. Two accidents have occurred there already because of this problem but luckily no one was hurt. It is only a matter of time before someone gets killed then may be the Ghanaian will have something to say. It is sad for such young lives to die so prematurely but truly the Ghanaian attitude is responsible for such needless loss of lives.
Driver who kill on our roads SHOULD to prosecuted and if found GUILTY, JAILED! They take money and kill our stars. Terry Bonchaka and other are examples I have. It is NOT ordinarily!
She has Satanic symbols all over her body and sings Satanic songs. She is a daughter of Satan the Devil. DESTROYING THE YOUTH WITH HER SATANIC SONGS. FIRE BURN THEM ALL INTO ASHES !!!!!!
Ghanaian roads are the most dangerous in the world all because over the years we have failed to enforce road traffic regulations. Why should a long distance driver using a bus like VIP be allowed to drive for more than six hours continuously without resting. When at all will we as a nation sit up and say enough of the carnage on our roads. Are waiting for this to happen to a prominent politician before we start thinking and applying the laws? I see the national road safety commission as one of the most ***barred word*** state organisations that must be closed or revamped immediately. What at all do they do there? I have not for once heard that they have even set a target of either reducing accidents on the roads or re-training drivers or screwing the nob on the acquisition of drivers licence to ensure that only merited drivers people get their licence or forcing operators of long distance vehicles to ensure that every driver goes for a refresher course every two years to beef up his skills or otherwise or even ensuring that measures are put in place to drivers and pedestrians to respect raod traffic laws. They must bow their heads in shame for taking salaries every month and failing to think to ensure the roads are safe for all of us. I hate it but if anybody should die on the roads it should be members of national road safety commission. A complete apology of an institution
May your soul rest in perfect peace queen ebony.
Clearly we have to move passenger traffic from our poorly planned and constructed roads onto high speed rail to allow for comprehensive planning and construction of our roads into decent 4 lanes on each side with a very decent median or central reservation between the two opposing 4 lanes with solar lightning to aid visibility in the night. Let's get serious as a people and country and address our challenges, which has created the situation for all sorts of things to be thrown out in the public domain bordering on religiosity.
Very tragic! I have cause to believe human factor was to blame for this terrible accident. Looking at the time it occurred(a few minutes to the early hours of friday)perhaps tiredness or other human factor played a key part. She was a real talent and Ghana music will be poorer for her demise. God Almighty forgive her sins and grant her and the other unfortunate victims eternal rest. Our God still reigns and He knows why this happened. Damirifa due, Ebony Reigns & Co.
Ghanaian roads are dangerous,if u r artist please if u can get a landcruiser or a Ford expedition for ur long trips. It uses a lot of fuel but u have higher level of safety ,our politician don't care so all of them have v8 big cars or avoid travelling at night.
