Broadcaster Kofi Okyere Darko has finally explained his trending “all over the place" remark.
A day before John Dumelo’s wedding, KOD took to social media to express his excitement about his invitation to the wedding and advised women who wanted to be wives of celebrities not to be “all over the place” but to learn from Gifty.
His statement attracted heavy criticisms especially from several female celebrities including Yvonne Okoro, Juliet Ibrahim and others who clearly disagreed with his statement.
In an interview on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review”, the Starr FM mid-morning show host and fashion mogul believes the female celebrities obviously misunderstood his statement. KOD said he was brutally surprised at the reaction of the female celebrities on this issue.
He said he was referring to the women with a lot of male sexual partners as “All Over The Place women” and not just popular women or female celebrities.
“This is what our mothers say to our sisters, this is what we all tell our daughters and our sisters as well, that if a man wants to marry, usually he doesn’t want a woman who jumps from one man’s bed to another and that is what I meant. So what I said about all over the place did not mean popular people”.
According to KOD, some women are noted for sleeping with different men in the industry and they are the type of women he was referring to as being “all over the place".
“There are some ladies who are popular for being with countless men. Yes! That is what I meant”.
