A few days ago, Mark Okraku Mantey vowed never to appear on Deloris Frimpong Manso’s ‘Delay show’ aired on Ghone TV with the reason that the show is to ridicule celebrities.
Celebrities such as Kurl Songx, Joyce Blessing, Vicky Zugah and the likes have had issues with the host, Delay after appearing on the show.
Delay who has kept mute on how she conducts her interview has finally responded to claims that she ‘forces’ celebrities to say what they never want to say on live TV.
She said;
“I don’t force anyone to say things they don’t want to say on my show. The Delay Show is a talk show where I allow my guests to free their minds. My guests have the liberty to answer the questions posed to them and if they are not comfortable, no one pushes them to answer”.
Responding to her style of interview, she questioned;
“Any good presenter would ask questions any ordinary Ghanaian wants to know. Rosemond Brown said that I wanted to use her to be popular and I asked her if I needed her to be popular? That is a question any good presenter would ask. Or”?
Delay who sees nothing wrong with her style concluded that;
“I think The Delay Show is the best now because of the buzz around it. Personalities such as Sarkodie, Asamoah Gyan, Stonebwoy, Bisa Kdei, Ofori Amponsah, Yvonne Okoro, KKD, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, Grace Omaboe (Maame Dokono) and Shatta Wale have all been on the show”.

How much are you paid as an actress/actor,do you think being half caste is an advantage, what car do you drive, is it brand new, how many men have you slept with etc etc? What's that? Please, if you want to be taken seriously as a presenter by serious people, then ask insightful questions that will be edifying to your viewers. I cringed, particularly watching that interview with the young woman, Rosemond; nothing gained by bullying her the way you did. You took advantage of her vulnerability and humiliated her for no good reason. I hope you raise your game, Delay because you can.
That woman asks fellow women very demeaning questions.It's downright outrageous to listen to her prodding into the very private lives of her hosts. Just,for popularity. It's very unGhanaian. Rosemond was very right in calling her out. She needs to stop.
