Ghanaian musician, Brenya has sent out a plea to the Ghana Police Service to stop treating people with so much disrespect.
The musician narrated a sour encounter he had with the police on the Thursday edition of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1 FM.
According to him, the police stopped himself and a few friends on their way from the studio and when he questioned them as to why they have been stopped, he was verbally abused by the officers.
He explained that their physical appearance caused the officers to address them the way they did.
Brenya further opined that the police stick to their jobs of keeping the country safe from the real lawbreakers.
“People with dreadlocks are generally perceived to be trouble makers. But we are not the once stealing the country’s money”, he lamented.
He has thrilled music lovers with several songs, some of which are “Life”, “Barikissu”, “Megye Wo Girl” and many more.
He is currently promoting his current song dubbed, “Kelewele”.
