Female Ghanaian reggae dancehall sensation, born Akosua Kwakye popularly known in the music circles as AK Songstress has disclosed that juju men have been trying to convince her.
According to her, these Juju men have been reaching her through her social media pages and sometimes personal encounters.
She disclosed this in an interview on Storm FM’s Midmorning Show with DJ Aligator in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region.
“A lot of juju men chase me. Most of them reach out to me on Facebook and also personal encounters. They promise to make me more famous within a short time but I always turn them down. The Bible says we have the right to do many things but it is not all that fit us.”
According to AK Songstress, the only true way to succeed in the industry is to wait upon the Lord’s appointed time because the devil will never give his thing free without asking for something in return.
“I believe it is all about time…and God has time for each and everyone. When your time comes, people will follow you even if you cough. There is no need for us to rush.
“As they continue to approach us, some of them may fall for it. But for how long can that [juju] help you?” she queried, adding, “People are doing it…a lot of things happen in this industry.”
