The construction of a third terminal to serve passengers at Ghana’s only International Airport, Kotoka, has been completed.
The newly constructed terminal 3 is now open for testing as authorities work at making service at the airport flow more freely.
The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) announced the construction in 2016 and it’s now been completed.
According to estimates, the new terminal would ease pressure on the other two terminals and is expected to serve up to 6.5m passengers annually.
