As promised by the ruling New Patriotic party, free SHS was a major policy they highlighted on. Indeed they have delivered on that, but while some Ghanaians think it has been helpful, others think otherwise. www.entertainmentgh.com reports!
One of the many Ghanaians who think otherwise is the Ghanaian comic actor, Salinko. Well, he believes that president Nana Addo may loose the 2020 general elections if care is not taken due to the free SHS policy being exercised.
According to the actor, the free SHS policy is not helping Ghanaians at all. He cited that, there are several developmental issues in the country which haven’t been attended to hence, making life difficult for Ghanaians.
Speaking on Accra FM with Nana Romeo, the popular Kumawood actor stated clearly that, “the free SHS policy introduced by president Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo may cause his defeat in the coming 2020 election because he’s putting in all his attention, strength and resources to make it stable and for that reason he’s gradually failing Ghanaians and life is gradually becoming extremely difficult.”
Salinko born Davis Abraham added that “a lot of the youth in the country are jobless now, jobs are collapsing here and there, companies are laying people off day in day out and most companies aren’t able to pay workers monthly.”
The Kumawood actor who wanted to enter parliament on the ticket of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) during the December 2016 general election also opined that, “there are a lot of rich people in the country who can pay for their children‘s school fees and those fees will go a long way to help develop the country but that money isn’t coming all in the name of free education.”
Salinko made a wish which was, he’d it if the NPP is given another four (4) years after 2020 polls but he doubts due to how the nation is retrogressing. He advised the Nana Addo-led government to sit up.

Good talk only that talk is cheap. Your party has a similar policy. How many rich people are in Ghana, he should tell us. Bro, you have changed your name so how can we trust you even. Other areas are colapsing goo for you to see it but is it under gocernment. I just see you do not want free SHS but your party likes it paaaaaaaaaa. Good talk but keep it coming.
THIS SALINKO GUY IS STILL DREAMING COMIC! FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.....ALREADY MENTALLY PERISHED?
NANA ADDO MUST GO
@kofi, I think the question asked Salinko is fair. He has to come again. That is how you can determine whether someone is abreast with political issues. But as usual you guys will run and take cover in " npp does not want to face the truth or cannot take criticism". When you make a point you should able to defend it. Otherwise, how can you be taken seriously. It is just like A-Plus accusing people of corruption but when asked to produce evidence he started running for cover and has not been heard again since. Let's be bold to make our point and even more bold to defend it.
NPP hate the truth why? Truth is onluy one wai.
FOOOOOLLLL
You run on the tickets of the PPP. Free compulsory education was one of the major policies of the PPP. So how was that going to be done based on your position now? A ***barred word*** is thought to be wise if he is quiet.
