Minister of God and one of Africa’s biggest gospel musician Dr Sonnie Badu was in shock yesterday when a church he founded just about 8 months ago gifted him with a brand new Mercedes S550 car.
He announced this in a video posted on his Instagram page. Members of the church he founded or built to put it properly blindfolded him and walked him to where the car has been parked with a lot of people gathered there to take part in the surprise.
But we at GhanaCelebrities.com are quite stunned and wondering as to where an 8 months old church got money to buy their founder a car within a short period of time?
This is what he wrote;
“I’ve fully recovered. So, last night to top up everything, my children surprised me with this beautiful 2018 Mercedes S550!!!!! You guys made me cry: From the Kiddie Rocks presentation to the music ministration to everyone I mean everyone!!! I’m in awe.
8 months ago God told me to sell my car (C class) and sow it into starting@therockhillchurch. I was obedient and I gladly enjoyed the taxi and Uber rides to church.
I’m still in awe! @therockhillchurch I love you to bits and Thank you once again. You are worth the wait … New York, see you tonight…”

who said his church is a Ghanaian church ***barred word*** , you will not find even one Ghanaian there , we are supporting him , we will buy him a jet soon
Wow, an 8 month old church able to gift an over $100,000 benz to Sonnie. I have heard that now he is more into the prophetic ministry too. Get ready, he will be releasing his Rolls Royce Phantom soon.
Ghanaian churches in the USA has a habit of gifting their pastors big gifts and spoiling them but if these same pastors become greedy and start to "chop" money then they start accusing.
