R2Bees in a latest interview have revealed how much they were paid for their first ever show in Cape Coast.
The award winning duo reminiscing on the beginning of their career revealed they were paid 4 million Ghana cedis for the group to perform to their hit single Yawa Girl in Cape Coast.
“I remember our first show was at Cape Coast and it was with Shatta Wale but then he was called Bandana and we were paid 4 million Ghana cedis” PaeDae told Joy FM.
“That’s when we realized we had to to take the music thing serious. “Yawa Girl” was hard but we decided to do more commercial songs.”
