Friday, February 8, 2019 is exactly a year since the tragic demise of award winning Dancehall/Afrobeats Singer, Priscilla Opoku Agyeman popularly known in music circles as Ebony Reigns.

As custom demands for a one year anniversary of the dead, family and friends have been expectant of a solemn ceremony to commemorate the late Ebony Reigns, but the late Singer's one-year anniversary has been postponed.

Instead of the anniversary coming off on February 8, Father of the late Ebony Reigns, Nana Opoku Kwarteng has told host Kwame Adjetia on Neat FM's "Entertainment Ghana" Show that the family has decided to reschedule the anniversary to Sunday, March 31, 2019.

According to him, February 8 is a day that reminds him of the sudden departure of his daughter and therefore unsettles him, hence the need to postpone the anniversary.

I’d wished that the day, February 8th, had been deleted from the calendar or erased from the world because this day didn’t deal well with me well . . . I have postponed it . . . On the 31st of March, we will be commemorating one year of Nana Hemaa," he told the host.

He disclosed that the one-year anniversary of Ebony Reigns will be held at the Dansoman 'Keep Fit' park.
