Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy has apologized to Ghanaians for pulling a gun on stage at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Stonebwoy pulled a gun after reportedly seeing Shatta Wale on stage while he was receiving an award for the Dancehall Artiste of the Year.
This incident put the show on hold for some minutes.
Stonebwoy while receiving the Songwriter of the year award, tried to justify his action.
According to him, "I only had to act on natural instincts…I come in peace and I go in peace"
He then "apologized to everyone in Ghana" adding "…by their deeds we have all seen"
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale in reaction to the incident that occurred tweeted:
"Don’t play with a lion like that ...He dislikes to smell blood !!!"
